Looking at 09

The bike season will be comming to a close pretty soon here in Kamloops. It is getting dark and chilly which is perfect for bonfires but not so sweet for riding bikes! The riding season has been over for me since september when I reboke and destroyed my right Clavicle but all my friends have been killing it, especially Aggy. He is now riding on the Kona clump and Sombrio cartel factory teams, as well as some other deals in the works. Huge congratulations to him, Im so excited that he is just living the dream right... he has worked hard and deserves it!

I am starting too look at next summer already, getting pumped for new bikes, new trails and lots of good times. In 2009 the Bicycle Cafe Team is going to be a bit more exciting. There will be more events with more photos and videos, more blogging to keep everyone up to date on the excitement and also some new riders( more about that soon!).

When we sort things out shortly I will make a post to officially announce the 09 team rider. Untill then, here are a few photos that I managed to snag in between broken collarbones this august!!!

epic bike finding.

soooo today was super rainy and gnar, so i was riding home from the bikepark and korbs mom called me up, told me korbyn broke his collar bone riding pebels. i was a little shocked that korb was riding it by himself. As soon as i got home i was calling up everyone and trying to figure out how to get korbs bike down from the trail, was kindof hard to figure out since i had no idea where the trail was. aventually dylan, bryan, ace and I made are way up to the top and found the trail, by then it was around 4 oclock and it was rainy and supppperrrr epic fog, we headed down the trail and wasnt sure if it was a real trail or a dried up creek, super gnar trail for sure. as we made are way down we came to this bridge where i guess korb fell off onto his head and broke his collar bone!!!! after we found his bike we decided keep walking down in the gnar fog and try to find juniper. aventually we got down there with korbs bike:). kinda sad korb has broken another bone butt it happens i guess. overall it was a prettyyyyy good adventure!!
