Peanut Butter Knife Fight

Defenetly the most epic roadtrip of my life! My truck breaks down 2x and i ended up puting in a new fuel pump costing $850. Turns out it wasnt even the problem, but the shop did know what the problem was but still decided to sell me this fuel pump and not tell us what the real problem was. It ended up being this little inertia switch that my buddy Tyler Keep kept hiting with his foot by accident, cuting off the gas to my engine! After we finnaly got back on the road from starting our trip at 7:00 in the morning, and arriving in Tswassan around 11:30 at night! Sooo stupid, i was not stoked, but i was pumped to have things rolling again. We stayed the night at the Meyer house hold, and bassicly went to sleep right away! We woke up at around 5:00 in the morning to catch an early fairy. We were soo freaking tired because we had hardly gotten any sleep the night before as well; we were way to excited! So then finnaly after meeting up with Wyper on the fairy we made it to Jordies! Holy piss his jumps were not easy at all! I think like 1/4 of the riders couldnt make it through the jump set! His jumps are just too gnarly to explain, and no picture could ever justify how hard they are, well leave it at that! Fridays practice was a gong show, and it left alot of people with buised bodies, bruised egos, and broken bones! Healing vibes to Neil Meyer who over rotated a 3, and ended up breaking his back. I was alittle worried on how was i going to do during the comp because i was only making it through the set 1 out of every 5 times! All in all i couldnt really care less because i was having soo much fun with all of my friends that i had not seen in a loong time. But when Saturday rolled around i was able to ride really smart and consistant which lead me to qualifying in 2nd place. I quickley called Cheryl at the Bicycle Cafe and told her what was up, and after a incouraging talk, i was able to go into the finals confident and was able to pull of my run i had planned out, which lead me to 3rd place, and also i was awarded most improved rider. I was very excited, and was defenetly stoked on being pumped! Then the next day we drove to Victoria where we rode Shrews jumps for an hour. These things were also amazing!!! They had a perfect trick learning jump there, and i was able to make use of it, and dial in a few of the new tricks i have been working on. This trip just couldnt get any better it seemed! So we then book a fairy time for 3:00 which we ended up not getting on, as well as even the 4:00 one, So we then finnaly after all of this stressing got on the 5:00 fairy. Then a very long tired drive home back from Tswassan! Id like to tell more and more about the trip but it would turn into a novel! Super big thanks to Korbyn Kennedy for letting me use his Kona SHONKEY frame! The thing was amazing; thanks again bro!
