It's been a few since I have put up a post as I have been in an indulgent feast of riding life and general hecticness, with 22 of the last 25 days on bike, including races, camps, road trips and my coaching business going at full steam. I am exhausted in the best way possible, and will definately sleep well tonight. The last few weeks have seen Pano, Golden, Sun Peaks and Kamloops being shredded as hard as possible, but I won't go into too much detail other than to say that it has been glorious. The main thing that is keeping me busy currently is camps and general coaching at Sun Peaks. Last weekend Cheryl and I put on a super fun Women's day program, and then all last week I was coaching the Matt Hunter camp with Mr. Hunter and Chayse Marshall, which was equally enjoyable despite riding on a rental bike all week. It almost feels like cheating... On top of the employment situation I have been filming with Cory and running my race program with Limitless, which have both been super rad. Friday night I got my bike back and so instead of resting today of course I went and trained with my racers, pinning it all day. God it is so good to be back on my own wheels (Thank you Cheryl and crew, unreal). Note to Sun Peaks, component manufacturers and everyone else: please just start running 30" bars on all bikes all the time. The dirt at Sun Peaks is so tacky right now too, and to be back on wide bars and good tires on my Glory, I feel very appretiative and quite spoiled. The next two weeks have me coaching two 5 day programs, my race progam, working at the Delta, organizing a series of Sports Psychology seminars, and then racing Bear in Mission. Wish me luck, I may need it. I really encourage all to first check out the seminars I am putting on with Dave Freeze as they are invaluable, and then to head to Bear Mountain on the 26th for the funnest race of the year. Drop me a line if you are interested in either. On that note I am out, but I will leave you with a story below of an amazing trip I did a few weeks ago, and did not have time to finish writing up until now. All the best!
Justin
