Bro Shredding

I'm just about to pass out after a super rad two days at Sun Peaks and while tryign to reflect on this weekend, Bro-Shredding are really the only terms that come to mind. There were just so many bro's, and so much shredding! I was ecstatic to catch up with alot of people I haven't seen or ridden with in a long time and pin laps down the mountain, over lofty snowboard style jumps and around moondust corners. The dust had some people down in the dumps and although I must admit it did take me out once or twice, I found the rush of wondering wether or not the dust would sweep my bike out from underneath me quite entertaining! On Saturday we had the Yeah Bro! biker cross race. Everyone was pumped and shredded hard. I ended up nocking my time down to one minute flat but that was only fast enough for fourth place! I am going to have to stop drinking so many frappuchinnos! Brett Turcotte won the race, which I was expecting. Then on Sunday we had the High Roller Ride. I didn't get to check out everyones tents, but I had lots of fun shredding with kids and holding down the Cafe fort. I gotta thank Marcie and Mat Miles for being KILLER helpers with moving things back and forth from town, and Jon and Scott from Race Face for putting up so many rad prizes for everyone! I am already excited for my next day up there!
